Liked: The location to ascend for skiing
Disliked: Staff were unfriendly and was not value for money.

Perfect location, friendly staff

Liked: Restaurant staff was exceptional.Breakfast was tasty with omelettes and waffles.Location next to Parsennbahn was perfect.Room was big.Ski room with locker was good.
Disliked: View from room was non-existent.Felt a bit like a nice 4*, not a 5*.

Liked: Convenient for lift. Train station close. Breakfast chaotic but the cooked choices were ok. Helpful, smiley staff. We had much sympathy for them when dealing with the privileged clientele and their often moody brood.
Disliked: Small ski area, buses/trains needed to get around and Davos has no atmosphere. Obviously, expensive, but the food was bland and uninteresting. Amazingly, we would have liked an allocated table since we had half-board. Instead, it was a case of first come, first seated. I think they have a high staff turnover with many foreign workers and in the restaurant we had to assert ourselves a few times. The hotel has very recently been taken over (at least the lease was). Room too hot and nothing could be done about it. Light switch system designed by a committee. Don't take a laptop larger than 13" because it won't fit in the safe. Welcome to Switzerland.

Liked: Fantastic for kids to be allowed spa access until 5pm. Great location for Parsenn ski area. Comfortable and spacious rooms.

Disliked: Beds incredibly uncomfortable…the mattress collapsed in the middle. I had severe back pain the whole stay so bad i couldn’t ski the final 2 days
