Liked: It's easy to find just of the motorway and minutes away from the ferry terminal. Lots of parking
Disliked: Didn't know in advance that the restaurant was being refurbished. Little atmosphere in the alternative so went into the city for dinner.

Lovely 1 night stay, would...

Liked: Really lovely staff, very clean hotel and room, good sized rooms, comfy beds, lots of hangers to hang clothes, quick turnaround with requests (for items missed when packing!) and a great price, £169 for 1 night (Saturday, double room with triple occupancy) Late checkout time of 12pm! Great security guard at night who was happy to take photos of us, and knew all the right angles! Couldn't comment on the location for Portsmouth as we ubered to Southampton for an event. It was a short 25 minute drive, approx £30 (but more expensive at night). However still a cheaper option than hotels in Southampton.
Disliked: We had a double room with triple occupancy but had to request 3 x towels and 3 X cups/mugs. Plenty of mirrors to do makeup, but not great lighting...
