Our stay was absolutely marvellous.

Exceptional

Liked: Located on lovely pedestrian/touristic street in the heart of the city. Nearly everything in the city is a walkable distance away, so we never really needed to take the public transport/taxi unless we did day trips out of town. It's also about 5 minutes away from Sao Bento train station, so it was easy to get there even with our luggage. Staff was very nice, they recommanded restaurants to us, and helped us book them. One complementary drink voucher was given to each person in our party to enjoy at the hotel bar during happy hour. Room was clean, and water, Nespresso coffee pods, and tea sachets were replaced each day. Beds were also redone each day without having to ask for room service. Shower pressure was amazing.
Disliked: Would have been nice if there was an additional fan option in the bathroom to remove the steam after the shower.

Liked: Great location. High quality. Great view of the cathedral, etc. from our room. Only ate once in the restaurant but it was very good.
Disliked: Having booked a table, we were disappointed to find that the majority of the choices on the restaurant menu weren’t available. Luckily, we found something that was available that we liked, and it was very good!

Liked: Lovely friendly staff. Willing to help all day long. Loved the breakfasts too. Lots to choose from and service was good.
Disliked: We found all the light switches in our room confusing at first.

Liked: Such a fantastic hotel- gorgeous- modern- style- great amenities. Breakfast is superb but simple. Beautiful lobby area- helpful with car/bags. Very helpful staff!!! Would stay again!!!
