Liked: The views from all front rooms were amazing and luckily we had a couple of sunny days which really was a bonus. There is a fair amount of outdoor seating to take advantage of sea views The staff were all friendly and helpful and worked really hard to make sure all guests had everything they needed There is a massive amount of spaces in the car park to the side of hotel
Disliked: I feel it’s best to have a couple of days stay here at least, the first impression is that the hotel is stuck in a couple of decades in the past but by the second day somehow this all becomes charming Bring your own toiletries it’s just basic shower gel and shampoo it also helps to have your own hairdryer

Beautiful views and if you...

Liked: The view was something that money could not buy and we were lucky enough to be there on a very warm Friday in April. The SWCP is opposite the entrance of the hotel and we walked to Duporth, Porthpean and Charlestown on the first day and Carlyon Bay, Par Sands and Par on the second. The staff (they're weren't many) were so helpful and worked so hard. Special mention for the young lady on reception (didn't get her name but she's studying Law) who not only checked us in, served us breakfast and drinks but also cleaned the rooms! She was so welcoming and helpful and also to the young man with the beard who was working on the bar and serving evening meals and breakfast ...again very pleasant and helpful. Think their Manager got lucky when he employed both of them!
Disliked: The hotel bedroom was slightly dated and mattress very hard (but we're used to a soft bed) but didn't spoil the visit and the room and bedding was spotlessly clean..
