Located in the west end of the gateway town of Callander the charming Poppies Hotel is just 4 minutes' walk from the city center and in close proximity to numerous historical attractions and rambling routes. This small rustic family-run hotel is located in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There are 9 en-suite and individually designed bedrooms which combine traditional and modern comforts. Camerons Bar the Poppies Hotel's hand crafted oak gantry has been awarded a place among the top 100 whiskey bars in Scotland. It offers a fine selection of malt whiskey. Perfect place for a family...

Liked: Poppies hotel had everything we need and more. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional good. Couldn’t fault anything.

Liked: The hotel was excellent as was the owners John and Susan..friendly couple..nothing was a problem..just felt homely..and breakfast was fabulous.. piping hot..and great scrambled eggs... would recommend Poppies to anyone.
Disliked: Was happy with everything.couldnt fault it

A beautiful property in a...

Liked: The room was beautifully appointed, with little extras like the butterscotch cookies, and a chocolate on the pillow. John and Susan were excellent hosts and couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating - they sorted me out a taxi to get to Dunblane station and were very forgiving when I slept in the first day and missed my breakfast slot!
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike!

A really enjoyable stay.

Liked: Great location, great parking available .Very comfortable room with great views and well equipped for our overnight stay. Plenty of eating places close by offering a great choice of food .Breakfast options were amazing, hard to choose.Definitely hope to return in the future.
