Disliked: We have been staying at the Pomeroy every year for over 10 years for a competition it has always been great. This year no one from our group had a good sleep the beds definitely need to be replaced.

Liked: This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. We had a great experience the first time, This time not so much. We were in Olds for a dance competition. We stayed 2 nights. Our first day at the hotel we found that our room had a horrible smell, we figured it out to be the hole in the bathroom sink, So the bowl of the sink was full of stagnant water. We tried to keep the bathroom door closed but when you had to go in there you were hit with a smell as soon as you entered the bathroom, if the door was left open the smell filled the room of the entire suite.Our sheets were filthy. There was a giant stain on the top sheet of the bed as well as one on the other sheet. So me and my daughter ended up sharing the other bed. The pool was so cold on the first night that none of the kids were swimming, Maintenance said that you can either have the hot tub hot or the pool warm but you can’t have both. Our room had less than half a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls. My daughter was having a shower at 10:30pm and called me to tell me there was no conditioner. So I had to go down to the lobby at 10:45 to get toilet paper and conditioner for our room. When I got back up my daughter said the body wash was empty as well. Our first night was horrible. We stay in a lot of hotels and things the first time I have ever complained. I talked to the front desk the next morning and they told me they would have someone up there right away to change the sheets and look at the sink. I told them the sink needs to be replaced. Nothing maintenance can fix. We left for a few hours returning to the hotel around 4, and when we got to the room, the sheets were still in there and they had not been changed. Our garbage was removed so I know they had been in the room.So back down to the front desk, where they were able to change my room, Which I appreciated. They said they would discount my first night. They discounted $20 and $30 due to smell and dirty sheets.
