Book a superior double room...

Liked: the location was fantastic, there was a problem with access due to the road being re done but we were informed of that and it was OK. the view from our rooms was amazing and everything was so comfortable and roomy. Room 201 is possibly the best of the rooms.
Disliked: I would have liked a mini fridge and a kettle in the room but boiling water was available 24 hours in the breakfast room. the lights were awfully bright

Very good location. Maintenance could...

Liked: Very good location. In less than 5 minutes you are in the historical center and you can see the cathedral from the hotel. Beautiful views.Good decoration and style but very badly maintained. Comfortable beds and a very good sized room. Is huge.
Disliked: The 8 is for the location, the size and the views. We were in the family superior room, located in the floor -1 (garden floor). Maybe in the rooms located in other floors the situation is different.The room was not very clean. Were hairs on the floor, the toilet brush needs to be retired (already worked enough). There are stains on the floor and on the ceilings (humidity maybe?). In the room were spiders ( we put out 5 of them) and full of flying ants ( lots of them).The toilet door is broken and the shower doesn't drain properly, provocating flooding. There is no AC. During our stay there was quite warm weather in Santiago and they left the heater on, so when we arrived the room was at 30°C. Impossible to sleep in this temperature.Looks like the hotel was very nice (and still looks like at the first impression) when they opened it but unfortunately the maintenance has been very bad.

Liked: Great property to stay in post the completion of the Camino. Great location in town. Breakfast was good and the view from the terrace was beautiful.

Great room but the front...

Liked: Lovey room in a convenient area with a view of the cathedral Plenty of light
Disliked: We had trouble getting in as the electronic door was not operating The staff had no personality but the room was excellent

Ok for a two star...

Liked: If you are lucky to have a room facing the cathedral the views are very good
Disliked: Black mould on the bedroom ceiling.Basic breakfast, breakfast room is so small it’s quite uncomfortable when busy.Due to a power cut to the card reader at main entrance to the building one of the nights we were locked out of the hotel , and despite calling multiple times nobody answered the out of hours phone number provided. Eventually another guest had to let is in from the inside.Rude reception staff.

Great hotel in the heart...

Liked: Nice room, great location, the staff was kind, they allowed to leave my luggage there after checking out, while I went to sightseeing.
Disliked: The breakfast is way too simple, here is an opportunity to improve.
