Small but perfectly formed -...

Liked: Brilliant little hotel. Room was small but perfectly formed and perfectly satisfied my needs. Room was clean, well stocked with towels and soaps and had ample hanging space. The free luggage storage following checkout was a brilliant addition. Would definitely recommend Pod 39 - especially if you're travelling on your own.
Disliked: Was a little expensive for what it was. But that's a minor gripe.

Great for solo travel

Liked: Had a great stay. Location was perfect, easy access to public transport and within walking distance to a lot of attractions. Great option if you want to stay somewhere central but avoid the most hectic areas. Very helpful staff, room was clean and had all the basics I needed. Great for a solo traveller if you wish to save some money and still have your own private space instead of staying in a hostel. Rooftop bar wasn't open at the time of my stay but the view was nice at night. Cozy bar / cafe in the lobby.
Disliked: Minor inconveniences were lack of soundproofing and a mattress that had seen better days. I could hear everything that went on in neighbouring rooms or in the hallway so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Not a huge problem in a room away from the elevator and with quiet neighbours. This wasn't a problem for me since travelling alone but if you're travelling with company you might want to know the bathroom doors are see through glass.
