Liked: The staff was kind and amenable to requests.
Disliked: The "balcony" was a door to an outside standing space. Not what I expected. The indoor pool area looked like it hadn't been cleaned much with green stuff growing on the glass doors...and when we asked staff to turn on the heat we were told it would take several hours to feel the difference. They should warm the space....the pool water was really cold.

Liked: I liked that it right off of route 80. The water pressure in the shower was awesome and the water was nice and hot. The room had good lighting and the a/c unit was easy to use and worked well. I also liked that it was quiet. There were no disturbances. The front desk workers were very helpful in offering places to eat and quickly accommodated us due to a problem we encountered. Having a Dunkin donuts next door was a plus.
Disliked: We just had one issue on the first night, the bedframe collapsed which caused the mattress to sink in when we laid down to sleep .Turns out that a bolt was missing from one leg that supports the frame and was on the floor and there was a second leg that also had a bolt loose. We called the front desk and was told maintenance was not available at that time of the evening, however they apologized and put us in a different room. We very much appreciated that. Also, the mattresses were a bit too firm We're 60 year olds and our bodies were a bit sore after waking up.

The hotel was great for...

Liked: Very nice staff, great to have access to a pool, convenient location- only a 5-minute drive from the Mt Tammany hiking trails where we spent the day
Disliked: A little drab, some cleanliness issues with the room when we arrived

Edge of the Poconos

Liked: The room was large and the bed was nice. I was able to walk to a BBQ restaurant and the hotel staffed a lounge. Plenty of parking near my entrance.
Disliked: I was disappointed that breakfast was not included or available, other than an adjacent Dunkin Donuts.

Very good

Liked: Bed,air conditioning, heating, no nasty smell from unit. Shower head was great !
Disliked: Long walk to room upstairs as a senior citizen. FURNITURE WAS BAD.
