The best part of my stay was the comfort of the room—it provided a relaxing atmosphere, and the hotel’s central location made exploring the area really easy. Overall, I would definitely recommend Plough Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally located place to stay in Melbourne.

Disappointing, wouldn’t stay again.

Liked: Staff was friendly and the food was actually very decent (aside from the absurd price tags).
Disliked: The location is very rough with “interesting” characters at all hours of the night and day. The hotel smelt strange, like dirt? The room was quite small, smelt strange also. The price wasn’t overly expensive but for a one night stay for $180? Better off finding a well known hotel and paying a bit extra for better comfort and cleanliness. The shower pressure was decent but had no body wash or soap? Just two very old shampoo and conditioner bottles. Only stay here if you’re desperate like we were for an event.

Liked: It’s comfy and staff are so helpful.
Disliked: The bed was really uncomfortable but last time I stayed I had a different room and different bed, which was much better. Might be something to look into as I’m not sure I would stay again unless I could be guaranteed that first bed.
