Liked: The room was large, the views were fantastic, and the bed & pillows were amazingly comfortable. We loved the old school charm and the beautiful wood throughout. We enjoyed time in the lounge area with pool table and on the sundeck. Easily walkable to restaurants, the Truckee River, and downtown casinos. We also had a great time at a free outdoor musical festival that was a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
Disliked: Wish the Cafe was open a little longer with more offerings. Did enjoy the vegan burrito and cappuccino.Housekeeping reminder: don't forget to vacuum the closet rug,ours needed cleaning.

Disliked: One elevator not working. Bar closed on a Saturday night. Elevator was heard from our room.

Liked: Older hotel located centrally in Reno. Large rooms, comfortable stay. Convenience store nearby. Good value for money.
Disliked: Nothing.

Cool vintage vibe without being...

Liked: This is a great hotel. It has an older vibe - the decor is from Reno history. Lots of wood and brass. It is old themed and a bit older but it still maintains a nice charm without being shabby. It really does have some older carpet, curtains and cabinets but everything works well and is very clean. Given the cool aesthetic it makes it an overall great hotel. It also has good access and nice pool area.
