This is how a hotel...

Liked: This is how a hotel should be run. The staff, especially the lady working there on reception, cooking and more worked so hard to make us feel welcome. The staff there are a real credit to the hotel. Other than that the hotel is very well located, very clean, quiet and has a nice pub on the grounds for evening meals. The breakfast at the hotel is very good, with highlights being the freshly made sausage bun and coffee (Latte, Cappuccino etc) which were excellent. All in all a very enjoyable stay for us.
Disliked: The only improvement I could suggest in the very clean and functional rooms is power sockets by the bedside

Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Very good location both near the motorway and town centre. Plenty of parking and a 24 hours reception is very accommodating.

Disliked: The last minute cancellation from the hotel because they overbooked. we booked the room over a week in advance of the booking date and paid for it, we travelled 400 miles to be told our reservation was cancelled on the day and I'd have to wait for a refund. It was a rush to find alternative accomodation twice the price and 20 miles further than we wanted to be. I still haven't received my refund. I wouldn't book here again no customer care given.
