Exceptional

I will stay there again...

Liked: The feel of being in an old building with so much history in heart of New Orleans yet in a serene setting
Disliked: On the first level too much traffic and loud people at 3am and all hours of the night

Perfect location in the center...

Liked: Perfect location in the center of the French Quarter with large historical accommodations. Very nice courtyard.
Disliked: Parking was super expensive and the carpet could really be changed.

Travel back to past

Liked: I love the aesthetics right smack in the middle of everything. There's no need to go anywhere else; everything is within walking distance. It's two blocks away from Bourbon Street. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and parking is provided at an extra cost. It might be haunted, though I've seen quite a few haunted tours on the corridor of the hotel, so maybe. I personally didn't feel anything weird.
Disliked: We had a few drinks at night in the corridor and noticed giant rats walking by. At first, I thought there were squirrels or possums until the staff confirmed that there were rats. I stayed there before, and they no longer provide continental breakfast, which was really good before. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Quietude in the Quarter

Liked: The location -- 1/2 block from St. Louis Cathedral, 1 block from Cafe Du Monde -- is unbeatable.The staff was very friendly and welcoming.We had a room with no windows, but it felt spacious because of the high ceiling.There's a quiet inner courtyard with a small swimming pool, a fountain, and places to sit and read, drink coffee, etc.It's not sumptuous Monaco-style luxury, but it's quaint and comfortable.
Disliked: n/a

Okay but wouldn't stay here...

Liked: The location of the hotel was nice and it is a pretty hotel.
Disliked: I didn't receive the room described on booking.com. In my room description it stated the room had a balcony. Instead I got put on the 1st floor, no balcony near the ice machine. The property said there was nothing they could do because I used booking.com and that the courtyard room which said it would have a balcony doesn't guarantee one.
