We had a clean comfortable room with a lovely view of the gardens. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.

Liked: Excellent staff; clean, comfortable room; very good dinner and breakfast.
Disliked: Room was cold in the afternoon and in the late evening when we returned from a concert as it is on a timer.

Liked: Lovely location within a busy neighbourhood.Bedroom was large and bed was comfortable.Breakfast was very good - lots of choice.
Disliked: Bathroom was quite small and shower was not very powerful.

Very friendly wee hotel 20...

Liked: We chose Potbauchlie House as it was the cheapest, so we didn't have high expectations. It turned out the hotel was spotless and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Big Dave the night porter gets a special mention for keeping us watered into the Wee Small Hours.
Disliked: Nothing fell below our expectations. We found out to our surprise that Uber doesn't cover Dunfermline, but that's obviously nothing to do with the hotel!
