Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff and...

Liked: We stayed in one of the snug rooms for my partners birthday and it was stunning!! Such a comfortable bed and the room was so cosy. The staff couldn’t have done more, they were so accommodating and I thought the little bag of sweets on check out was such a lovely touch. Breakfast was so tasty too.
Disliked: Nothing, was all fantastic.

Liked: A warm welcome from the staff. We had a great nights sleep. The food was excellent.
Disliked: Everything was as expected.

Great Location & Gardens, but...

Liked: The secluded location just a short walk down to main street was very good. The gardens were particularly large and great to explore the hidden corners & to catch unexpected views back to town centre. Very good feel to hotel interior and plenty of spacious old world charm. Was more like a mini castle. Having snack facilities on 1st floor landing was unexpected bonus.
Disliked: At breakfast - the coffee was AWFUL. Brown water with no taste to it - very weak. We were not the only table to ask for the coffee to be sent back and made stronger. Also the coffee bags in the rooms to use were also very weak & could not produce a reasonable strength coffee no matter how long it stood for.
