A lovely place to stay...

Liked: A beautiful hotel in a tranquil location . The twin rooms were more like apartments and very clean and comfortable .The restaurant was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful . It was incredibly good value for money and a highlight of our eight stay trip to Scotland . I couldn't recommend it more highly .

Super Hotel but needs a...

Liked: The Hotel was lovely, beautifully painted all White and decorated well inside tooThe meals were good both dinner and breakfast
Disliked: We were placed upstairs in the highest room, almost under an eave, loads of stairs to go up and down before hit the main staircase, with a lot of luggage which we had, was most impractical. They were great in assisting us with all our luggage.Room very tight, smallish room too and bathroom under the eaves, no room to swing a cat and it was pricey not cheap.Other downside was the dinner menu, didn't have prices on it of what you were choosing, so we asked a waiter to explain, which he couldn't so had to call a chef who lived close by, to come and explain to us why he had presented the menu the way he had. No where else had a menu with prices on it been presented the way he had done it.
