Nice spot, with a lot...

Liked: Suitably located for a wedding we were attending. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. The shower had great water pressure. The hospitality wasn’t great - gentleman was quite rude when we asked about an early check in due to travelling 3 hours then having a wedding to attend at 2:30 the check in time of 2pm was cutting it a little fine. I understand there is a check in time for a reason but when I asked if I could call on the day to see if it would be possible I was met with complete rudeness and was told if I wanted an early check in I’d have to book the night before too.Considering our group of family alone occupied 7 rooms for that night (with other guests of the same wedding occupying some more of the rooms) he wasn’t even willing to consider or at least say “if it’s possible we can do it” however upon arrival (at 1:30) we were greeted by a friendly woman who had no issue allowing us in to our room half an hour early. Have to say we were all glad to have been served by this lovely woman and not the grumpy gentleman we’d dealt with before we got there

Good beds and shower but...

Liked: Beds were comfy enough. Appreciate the microwave in the room.Service was fantastic and accommodating.Shower pressure was amazing, hot and refreshing. Great view and landscape
Disliked: Room was very dusty and dark with harsh lighting. lots of visible dust.Shower had lots of visible mould.

Disliked: Hairdryer didn’t work but I forgot to tell them. Bed was not comfortable.

Picton Comfort

Liked: Setback off main road, traffic noise almost non existent in back rooms of lavish wide open grounds.Room and ensuite immaculate, excellent hot shower. Nice linen.
Disliked: Very old fashioned Decor. A little cluttered but also a pleasant step back in time.Double bed.A bit of a distance out of town.No problem with a vehicle.
