Liked: I was late into London so late being out to oxford. Unreasonable check-in time of 8.30pm. After messaging the guesthouse at 9.20pm to say I'd be late I heard nothing meaning Ihad to check into a second hotel for the 1st night. No curtesy response to confirm I wouldn't get access that night so I knew where I stood.Facilities were functional and basic so would have been 5 or 6 stars if they responded to sa I'd missed the check-in or 7-8 if they had a more reasonable check-in time/ process

Liked: Quite close to the city centre, only 1 bus away or a 40min walk. The facilities were alright for the price and tasty cooked breakfast with some variety.

Liked: I absolutely love staying at Pickwicks and keep returning 😀. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is super, the room is very comfortable and the location is great.

SKIMPY BREAKFAST, MOULD IN WINDOW...

Liked: I booked Pickwicks and messaged the owner if I can have continental breakfast arranged on the night of 25th March as I had a early check out on morning of 26th March.I requested for 2 boiled eggs, crossiant, banana and fruit yogurt.I got a very RUDE reply that CANNOT BE ARRANGED!!On arrival Adnand at reception has hospitable and welcoming.As I had to rebook my slots I could stay on for hot Breakfast which was included in my booking.The female Kitchen staff was ALL STRESSED OUT!! stating it would take her 30 minutes to get a vegan sausage done...she was reeking of Nicotaine cigarette smoke.And as she was cooking she was coughing profusely.. hacking smokers cough.I told her it was only breakfast I was asking for NOT A 5 COURSE MEAL!!!The breakfast was a MINIMALIST BREAKFAST.. 1 hash brown, 1 vegan sausage, 6 slices of mushrooms, 1 cherry tomato and 1 brown bread.I asked for 1 vegan sausage and 1 hash brown and she said I have to pay £7.99..( very expensive )The bedrooms seriously need redecorating..my bedroom window ROOM NO 3 was had lot of mould all over frame....seriously not healthy to breath spores of mould.I wonder if owners windows in his house are lathed with mould!!Owners needs to seriously redecorate the guest house as clearly it has been heavily ignored.
