Dating back to 1375 Phi Hotel Bologna is one of Bologna's oldest boutique hotels in the historic city center. It combines 600 years of hospitality with modern facilities to ensure a pleasant stay next to Piazza Maggiore the city's main square. The Hotel is located in a restricted traffic area (ZTL) but guarantees access and offers a private paid garage on request (to be booked in advance) for those of you arriving by car. “The only thing I want...

Liked: Just the location right in the center of Bologna
Disliked: The room was terrible very old and not up to the standard of a 4 star superior.The electrical outlets were not fixed to the wall, and the shower had a broken gasket. The shower mat was missing, and the wall was completely dirty.”

Liked: Except for the one issue below our stay in one of the apartments attached to this hotel scored ten. The staff in particular went out of their way to help in any way they could.
Disliked: Everything else was scrupulously clean and functional but, strangely, they had equipped the apartment with a broken-down toilet seat. Cracking down to the interior fibreboard material made it uncomfortable - and maybe even unhygienic. Everything else was perfect.
