Dating back to 1375 Phi Hotel Bologna is one of Bologna's oldest boutique hotels in the historic city center. It combines 600 years of hospitality with modern facilities to ensure a pleasant stay next to Piazza Maggiore the city's main square. The Hotel is located in a restricted traffic area (ZTL) but guarantees access and offers a private paid garage on request (to be booked in advance) for those of you arriving by car. Liked: Room was great - spacious, quiet, comfy bed, bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was amazing! Delicious choices and great coffee.

Amazing location, great breakfast, ugly...

Liked: Breakfast had lots of options and it was great!
Disliked: The rooms are very dated, dusty, old furniture, there was no toilet paper in the room, the shower partly stuck, it basically looked old and not very well kept.

Great break

Liked: Quirky but we liked that! Very comfortable bedrooms and breakfasts varied and were very good. Perfect location and very helpful staff
Disliked: No china cups in bedrooms (cardboard cups only)
