Well located budget hotel room

Liked: We had a great stay at this hotel with our family! The location was perfect—right in the city center, making it easy to explore. The staff was incredibly friendly and even let us check in early, which was a big help. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh options to start the day.
Disliked: The room was a bit small, and we could hear some noise from the hallway at times. There were also a few minor issues, like a slightly loose wardrobe door, but nothing that affected our overall experience.

Very poor value for money....

Liked: The location is the best thing about the hotel. Very close to the Gran Via metro station. You can easily walk to many attractions and museums.
Disliked: I didn't like almost anything. Right upon arrival, the reception desk was worn out and outdated. My single room was sold to me at the price my friend paid for a superior room, and I was put in a room that seemed unfinished. The room was very small, and the bathroom had a ceiling that was peeling with pieces of paint hanging down. The sound insulation of the room was nonexistent; it was next to the stairs, and from seven in the morning, I could hear the noise of people going up and down. Loud noises also came from the corridor. The magnetic keys, despite keeping them away from my phone and wallet, demagnetized after just one use, so I had to get them fixed morning and evening.

Liked: The location is exceptional. The hotel is in the city centre, but on a small side street which keeps the place quiet. The breakfast was good, enough to start the day hassle-free. Across the street, there are small shops for 'emergency' shopping. The underground station is a five-minute walk from the hotel, on a busy main shopping street. The staff was friendly. I would certainly recommend the place.
Disliked: There was no designated space for luggage in the room, but as I reserved one of the smaller rooms, maybe I should have expected that.
