Fantastic stay in central Madrid

Liked: I loved absolutely everything. I arrived at 11am to store my luggage; however, I was advised that my room was ready. Friendly reception staff throughout my stay. Fabulous comfortable room with an amazing bed and pillows. Complimentary water with a fridge and safe. Fabulous bathroom with rain shower. Delicious breakfast. When I checked out, the hotel stored my luggage for me for several hours. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in central Madrid. The hotel is one minute from Plaza Mayor with many bars and restaurants. Two minutes to Mercado de San Miguel. Ten minutes to the Royal Palace and Cathedral. So central that you can walk everywhere.10/10 for comfort and location ☀️

Historic hotel in a good...

Liked: Room was spacious and clean, bed was good. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff did a terrific job. Location was good.
Disliked: WiFi was very frustrating…kept disconnecting. Room was too stuffy for a good sleep and the AC was not on. We slept with an open window which provided fresh air but it was quite noisy.

Amazing hotel in center of...

Liked: Amazing location right on the main plaza, great breakfast with lots of options. Easy to get anywhere - I never needed a bus or train, just walked and explored the city. Room was clean and convenient.
Disliked: Only issue was my room was very warm and there was no way to cool it other than opening the window. It was chilly outside, so warm inside it was hard to sleep at night.

Lovely historical hotel in an...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent! Staff was helpful with suggestions, and went out of their way to help us move into a quiet room when we couldn't sleep the first night due to noise beneath the room. They gave good suggesitions regarding meals, helped get us a cab to leave early in the am, and even sent us packing with a picnic 'to go'!
Disliked: A few bulbs were out in the rooms-perhaps had not been noticed.
