Superb hotel in amazing location

Liked: Fabulous location but surprisingly quiet inside. Plaza San Miguel is directly opposite and Plaza Major 3 min walk.
Disliked: Nothing it was fabulous

Liked: Great location - plumb in the centre of Madrid and close to most city attractions. Very dedicated staff who assisted us promptly and willingly.Overall good room and breakfast.
Disliked: Lack.of storage space and flat surfaces in the room, which in turn resulted in inefficient use of available space. There was enough unutilized space for additional furniture. Lifts were annoyingly slow. But not deal-breakers.

Amazing stay in Madrid

Liked: Bathroom was amazing. Large, spacious, modern, clean. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. Location is amazing and staff extremely helpful
Disliked: We had a room with bunk beds for the kids... however, the bunk beds were set too high, way too high. The lowest bunk was already around 30cm higher than a normal bed. I had to climb in. The top bunk was around 2m high. My kids were too afraid to go up there and i was too afraid to let them up there.At the end, we ended up with one adult sleeping on the bottom bunk, with the other adult sleeping with the two kids on the double bed.

Good location but next time...

Liked: Great location. Comfortable bed. Good Shower.
Disliked: Very small room that does not match the advertised size. A glass door separates the bathroom from the bedroom... not ideal.There is no ventilation in the bathroom.AC could only be set to heat - not cool. We were told the hotel sets the AC to either cool or heat depending on season rather than making the option to have it both ways. It was very hot in the room and a very hot day in general. We were told to open a window or they could provide a fan. This should be advertized!
