Great location, but it needs...

Liked: Location, location, location. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Prado, and a 10-20-minute walk from everywhere else we wanted to see. Additionally, cab are frequent, cheap and easy.
Disliked: The hotel lacks charm. Our room was pretty basic, and hadn't been redecorated since the '70s (or that's what it seemed like!) Staff were fine, but the breakfast team were overwhelmed.
