Liked: Close to the attractions
Disliked: Loud noises from outside and hallway. Couldn’t sleep. Water draining noises come from the upstairs every time toilet and shower used.

A week in Madrid

Liked: Location is good, but watch out on Friday nights because it’s impossible to sleep (teatro eslava in front) because of party goers on the Arenal Street! Housekeeping staff is very nice and room was cleaned daily very well. Denise at front desk was welcoming.
Disliked: We caught food poisoning from the buffet breakfast!! The tortilla de patatas and eggs weren’t cooked properly. There was a middle aged woman supervising the breakfast with an attitude. Young ladies at breakfast were nice. Check out lady in the afternoon wasn’t very kind. So half of your staff isn’t well trained or doesn’t even smile!!

Very good stay.

Liked: Breakfast was very good. Location excellent. Good value for a central location near the metro and within walking distance to ‘everything’.
Disliked: We like fresh air during the night but the aircondition machine outside made too much noise and so prevented us opening the window.

Liked: Location was excellent. Staff were lovely.
Disliked: We were opposite lift and walls very thin so was quite noisy, we also could hear the people chat next door. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a shame.
