Good location

Liked: Lovely old building and comfortable beds. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice and fresh fruit.
Disliked: Unfortunately a twin bedded room wasn't available despite booking one months in advice so we had a triple room which wasn't big enough. All 3 beds were jammed together so you could only get in and out of bed by climbing over the top and nowhere to put a book or water.Also the room was dark because it overlooked an enclosed damp space.

Nice place to visit Bilbao

Liked: We were very well received on the day of our arrival.We were able to drop off our suitcases while waiting for the room to be ready.A big thank you to Angel for his welcome, his smile and all the explanations he gave us to visit and get around Bilbao.The hotel is very well located in the heart of the old town with quick access to the metro and tram to get around outside and many bars and restaurants.We were able to go to see all the beaches up to Plenzia which is a beautiful seaside village.The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom very functional.The hotel was quiet and our room overlooked the street but no problem with the double glazing.
Disliked: It's a detail but i think for the price of the room, having a machine with some coffee capsules or a kettle for tea would be really nice.Having to bring the shower towels back to reception to change them is not really appreciated.

Lovely, friendly hotel

Liked: Perfect location with easy access to the Old Town and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful, always with a warm greeting and a smile. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We paid for breakfast so we could decide spontaneously, and it's definitely worth it - always fresh and delicious. Would happily stay here again.

Liked: This was a very comfortable hotel with an excellent location on a main square in Bilbao, just on the edge of the old city. We found it to be a great place to explore Bilbao. The breakfasts were very nice and the staff were very helpful. I would stay there again.
