Enjoyable stay in Richmond

Liked: Lovely bar & restaurant Great staff / service Attentive Room had everything we needed Location was excellentLarge car park We had a lovely view over the river Thames
Disliked: Rooms were warm - needed balcony door open all night even in mid-December Some fixtures and fittings could do with modernisation

Liked: Beautiful building inside and out and some great views even from the carpark.
Disliked: Shower was pretty poor. One had very weak pressure the other was handheld and super sensitive. The room had no air con so was either hot and if open the large window or cold in the night.

Liked: Lovely location near the Thames and stunning walks.
Disliked: It’s all a bit underwhelming tbh. The cleanliness was excellent. Our room bit tired and bathroom shower hardly any water pressure, temperature either too hot or too cool.They don’t tell you about all the service charges plus took money off my card without my approval or explanation (in case I used facilities). I wouldn’t stay at The Petersham again.
