Excellent seasonal apartment experience for...
Liked: For starters, this was a bargain find in Perth. I was interested in touring the city and the hostel is actually a full apartment block for university students. Check-in was responsive, painless, and I was able to park my motorbike for free. Facilities came with everything, including a private room with ensuite toilette and shower, fast wifi, a full kitchen, balcony, and secure electronic locks. I really enjoyed my stay here and couldn't fault anything with the hostel.
Disliked: Can't really complain about anything. If anything, there was a big spider in the kitchen due to someone leaving the sliding glass door to the patio open, but he/ she was well-behaved. Hostel is also roughly 25m from the city centre, but just 5-10m away from convenience stores and supermarkets, so it more than made up for it. That's really it.

A great find
Liked: My expectations in booking a hostel, even though it was a single-occupancy room, were fairly low, so I was more than happily surprised by the set-up at Perth UHI Hostel. A corridor with only 4 rooms on it, a shared kitchen/lounge facility with all the appliances and utensils needed and, being on the top floor, a good view from the balcony. I couldn't have asked for more, and the staff were very approachable and helpful with all my enquiries. I'd definitely stay there again.

Comfortable Stay, Great Value.
Liked: This modern residence hall was a great place for our one-night stay. Two single beds, a small bathroom, and a kitchen just steps away. Basic, but comfortable and convenient, and certainly a great value. The reception staff were friendly helpful.By the way, the new Perth Museum with the Stone of Destiny is worth a visit, and the lush Branklyn Garden is a lesser-known treasure.
Disliked: room,
