Liked: Location was great to visit the National Museum of Australia. Also many choices for restaurants and cafes.

Excellent service, also a great...

Liked: Enjoyed being able to dine in the restaurant (and not leave the hotel after a long drive there). With limited seating available inside, we had to dine out in the courtyard and fortunately it was just warm enough to sit outside. The standard breakfast was sufficient. The reception, wait and bar staff were all very friendly - the quality of service lived up to the hotel’s reputation based on the reviews

Liked: Staff is friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bathtub was not working properly, the room looked out to a literal dumpster, and the breakfast was terrible.

An older room with minor...

Liked: Great location, staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and given free hot breakfast for one day of our stay (which was surprisingly good - cooked to order rather than buffet style).
Disliked: The room we were in wasn't the most private as it faced directly onto a footpath. The design of the room is also a bit dated and could be better maintained, e.g. powerpoint on one side of the bed had been covered, and while overall cleanliness was good, nooks and crannies in the bathroom and elsewhere were clearly challenging to clean thoroughly.
