Liked: Room was a good size.Shower had good pressure with sufficient heat.The firmness and quality of the bed was great.Hotel is in a good location and close to a tram stop and underground metro line making it quick and easy to commute in Prague.
Disliked: The television was old. Only a few German channels and English news channels on it. No Netflix or smart tv options.Room service are only available upon request. So fresh towels, new coffee, etc are only replaced if you ask for it.The staff at reception are very cold and do not show you around where the gym and other facilities are, arrangements such as breakfast times, etc. We had to ask around and figure it out ourselves, which is probably not the end of the world.

Liked: The bed was comfy. Especially the pillows and duvets. Amazing. Loved the design of the bathroom.
Disliked: The staff could smile, be bit more welcoming. Say thank you for staying with us at the end. Anything really.. they were not rude, but there was no effort made to be warm or welcoming

Very cool, except for the...

Liked: Everything was great in the hotel, except for the check-in procedure – more on that separately.The hotel is stylish and comfortable. Not far from the metro and the Florenc bus station. The room is clean, has everything you need. The breakfast is simply magnificent, perhaps the best breakfast I have seen in European hotels.
Disliked: The hotel has a big problem with check-in - an incredibly huge queue. I timed it, waited in line for 52 minutes! Considering that many visitors come to the hotel already tired, this is a very big minus. The staff said that this happens often, so this is a serious management flaw. Put more people at the reception, open check-in earlier, automate the process - something needs to be done. I lowered my rating only because of this.

Excellent hotel in Prague

Liked: Excellent hotel in Karlin. Very pleasant stay and I like the bar with delicious cocktails plus very good coffee in the mornings.
