Overall, the hotel was very...

Liked: The room was very comfortable with plenty of windows and light.
Disliked: Check-out was unsatisfactory because apparently the luggage room was full and could not take any more luggage - this inconvenienced many guests. This must happen EVERY day and yet management is doing nothing about it.Also, due to the weather, trains/ buses were cancelled which meant my arrival a day late. Hotel staff had no way of dealing with this because I had booked through a 'third party' - so bad luck for me.

Amazing value for an overnight...

Liked: Clean, helpful/polite staff, good size bed, quiet, close to railway station, central to restaurants and bars, cosy bar/restaurant itself, seriously great price/value.
Disliked: Needs some updating/servicing in the bathroom (obviously don't know if this is applicable for every bathroom) as there were a few cracks in the wall and the toilet flush needed some extra convincing to do its job.

Liked: Lovely clean comfy room, staff very pleasant
Disliked: We stayed twice and both times tv in room was not working - 1st time we were moved to a different room and 2nd time receptionist went up and got tv working but we found that it was only working in 1 channel only - server problems which need to be resolved which spoiled a lovely stay

Liked: Breakfast was lovely with cold and hot options. Located centrally.
Disliked: No car park, should have checked in advance. Breakfast was lovely, with cold and hot variety, but dinner wasn't very good.
