Convenient but surprisingly noisy

Liked: Great location. Convenient. Nice room.
Disliked: Toilets screech when flushed, Heard them all night long. Heater also very loud. Needs more blankets.

Clean, quiet and a good...

Liked: My wife was scheduled for surgery at 0630 AM at a near by hospital. We live over 2 hours a we so we decided to get a room near rather than get up at 4AM to get there by 6:30.The room was clean, comfortable, and a good value.
Disliked: The check in took forever. but that could be because we checked in late.

Liked: Very good for the price you pay it's definitely worthy. We were that kind of people who only needed a place to sleep so this was perfect.

Liked: Updated, nice facilities, pleasant and impressive surroundings; the bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Disliked: There are no bedside lights, just too-bright, too-harsh ceiling fixtures. That is a significant oversight. Even a dimmer on the ceiling fixture would help.

Geat, value for money and...

Liked: The Pelican is a very basic motel that was clean and perfect for our family of four for one night while traveling down to LA. It is dated but not run down, and the room suited our needs. Reception staff friendly and helpfull.
