Not enjoyable, very disappointing

Disliked: I booked this because of the 2m clearance for parking only to discover we were only given access to the 1.9m parking section. Had I known that I would never have booked as our car ended up in the street a long way from the apartment. I specifically booked an apartment with two queen beds and two single beds but on arrival one of the single beds was an old flimsy fold up bed from the 80’s with such a thin mattress that the springs were digging into my petite 9 year olds back. Within half an hour of arriving the interconnected smoke alarms started going off for absolutely NO reason and continued to do so every few minutes until after 10:30pm. We had no way of contacting management as it was after hours and we could not find a number to call. The hot tap in the ensuite got stuck multiple times and took a lot to get it to turn off. The door to the master bedroom wouldn’t close properly and with only air conditioning in the living area the bedrooms, especially the master bedroom were like saunas. The fan/lights were very dodgy and we were unable to use the one in the room with the single bed and fold up monstrosity as the light itself was wobbling and making horrid noises when the fan was turned on. This made for an even more uncomfortable stay for my daughters in that room. This could be a much nicer place to stay with better maintenance, explanation of parking facilities and bedding options etc. on the websites. As for now, I do not recommend and was extremely disappointed.

Disliked: Outdated furniture and kitchen, dryer didn’t work properly. Pest control must’ve been just before we arrived. Dead flies all over floor upon arrival.

Liked: The property was great for being able to cook your own food instead of going out every night.The pool was great area to relax and swim.BBQ facilities were great and user friendly.Easy access to car parking and basement area.Close to facilities, shops and easy access to beaches, Amusement Parks, hinterland and Surfers Paradise.Overall a great place to rest and stay
Disliked: Unit we stayed in needs updating for comfort and everyday living. Kitchen electrical appliances (kettle and toaster) definitely need updating.

Liked: Great location. Close to everything but not in the hustle and bustle. Beautiful spot. Staff were awesome, very friendly. Apartment had everything we needed.

Disliked: Cleanliness of the apartment, eg. Dirt/mess under tv cabinet. Bathroom had hair in it upon arrival. . Fans didn’t work well in both bedrooms, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
