Pelican by the Sea is...

Liked: Very close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk. The manager Sam was super friendly and helpful, truly makes you feel welcome and wants to make sure you have everything you need. It was nice that the pool was heated and has a grill and lounge chairs poolside. I appreciated having the kitchen with a full refrigerator, not the typical tiny beverage refrigerator you usually get in most studios.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was as advertised.

Liked: Clean, Sam the host was excellent. Location was great . Loved having a kitchen. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be going back.

Liked: We were booked for one night for a brief staycation. Sam greeted us pleasantly and was very friendly. He personally took us to our room and showed us around the room to point out its amenities. So, we felt very welcome from the start. Our room was nicely renovated and was comfortable for 2. The hotel's location is an easy short walk to the beach. All-in-all we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back if we are going to be back for an overnight in the area.
