Liked: The "pavilion" part of the Regence hotel is actually across the street from the main hotel in a converted medieval building, so it's more like staying in a small inn than a grand hotel. But it's very modern, clean, and accessible, and the view are spectacular. We were right on the canal in the heart of Petite France, and the room was spotless. The bathroom was especially nice, with a large shower and double sinks. It's not an inexpensive place to stay, but it's very memorable and wor the money.
Disliked: The bed was a bit too firm for my tastes. A foam mattress topper would've been helpful.

Disliked: The room was hot and the air conditioning was still set to winter so we had to just open the window.
