Unique place to stay

Liked: We liked the pool and sauna. The grounds and outdoors were beautiful. Inside the house itself was like going back in time in a good way, it felt unique.
Disliked: The bathroom was a bit small, trying to open the door fully meant it would hit the loo, but that's about it, everything was great really.

Excellent food and facilities. Good...

Liked: Excellent food.
Disliked: Dinner menue did not change.Staff cleared dinner lay up and layed for breafast while we and other guests were having our dinner. Very un professional.

Liked: Cooked breakfast items were of good quality.
Disliked: Lunch items were not as described, substitutes being made. TV did not work properly and room information should be provided in paper format. The room was small, making if difficult to do certain things e.g. work at the desk area. Toiletry dispensers were impossible to use when in the bath.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff.

Liked: The location was fantastic just a short drive form Lymington but so peaceful and beautiful grounds.The staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one.The hotel had everything for a wonderful stay, our stay was unexpected but now we have discovered this beautiful hotel we will be back to enjoy a longer stay.
Disliked: No one could have done more, it was perfect.

Superb

Liked: Excellent breakfast, good quality sausages etc..Very pretty well maintained gardens.Very comfortable lounges and convivial bar area.
Disliked: Although we were only staying in a Standard Room a shower over a bath is not always convenient for older persons. Having said that, the room was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a very pretty view of the garden

Great Room and Beautiful Gardens

Liked: Lovely large room and bathroom. Beautiful gardens and quiet location
Disliked: Breakfast was adequate, just the normal buffet english breakfast with a couple of extra options available. The indoor pool is pleasant but could do with a bit of a freshen up decor wise. Bar areas lacked atmosphere.

Suited our needs for couple...

Liked: Nice location to explore the new forest . Had use of nice indoor pool at the end of both days . Breakfast lovely and ate in the bar on both evenings , food great . Daniel very helpful with room cost issue .
Disliked: Small items : Would have been nice to have shampoo /conditioner provided as in most hotels.
