The hotel was excellent. The concert was canceled right after we arrived. We spent the night anyway.

Disliked: Weren't enough good television channels.

Disliked: The room i checked smells really bad, it was across from the laundary room, I smell a strong bleach and very noisy, I had to pay extra $24 to move to the different room, they only have 2 queen bed room left.

Disliked: Location of room was next to the entry door which banged closed whenever someone entered or left the building. This door is access to the rooms, housekeeping laundry guest laundry,ice machine, and elevator. Everyone using these facilities passes by our room door,#112 and the entry door which is key operated slams shut and locks every time . Of course we have to listen to conversations of families arguing with tired children or spouses or a group of friends returning from somewhere all chatting about the evening while standing 10' from our door waiting for the elevator.The soundproofing of the room left a lot to be desired and the 1 1/2" gap under the door allowed light and sound to travel freely to our room when we wanted dark and quiet.While all was not bad, the staff were all pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was good and the location was good for our plans. When we got home we discovered the phone charger was broken and the plug prongs are broken off and probably still stuck in the wall socket by the TV. We did notice the wall plugs were very tight to insert a plug into. The bathroom plug was tight also and I had to push the reset button to activate the plug.The broken charger piece still in the wall socket could be a shock hazard if metal pieces are sticking out and someone touches them trying to remove them. Just a bunch of little things you don't want to attend to when you are away from home .I will call the motel tomorrow to talk about it.

Liked: I really liked the friendly staff and how well everything was facilitated. Also, I loved the bed! I got a 9.6 sleeping score in that bed. The convention might've had something to do with that. But still, best sleep rank so far!
Disliked: For me the American tip model for service is always difficult to comprehend. I did not have cash (I do not like cash}, felt guilty, left a bigger amount at the end. But that has nothing to do with this hotel, that's all me. These maids even tried to explain the door hanger to me in broken English, when I was still working in my room when they came in. I didn't know that I was supposed to communicate that I was going to be in the room working. Idk.. it is all 100% my fault, as the European hotel culture just is different. It's just me feeling awkward about it.
