The hotel was excellent. The concert was canceled right after we arrived. We spent the night anyway.

Disliked: Is the door you have to slam it in order to closed. You would wale up the guest if closed the door. Needs cleaning before checking in the guest. I have to cover the bottom of the door so the outside smoke wont come in.

Liked: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean room, price, location. Staff maintains hotel each day. Fresh renovation. Comfortable beds and pillows. Free WiFi with good speed. Free parking (decent number of spots, in front and back of hotel). Decent breakfast. 30 mins to Universal Studios during day time and same to Walk of Fame by car. I'm happy with selection of this hotel. Will stay again when will be in LA area.
Disliked: No hot tub. Pool is near to road (almost impossible to keep clean). Maybe misleading pictures. This place has hotel rooms and motel rooms. Narrow parking spots. I missed bacon during breakfasts. But this is me... As well maybe bathroom doors. If you staying as company in same room can be issues....

Disliked: The main Street (the historic Route 66) might be a bit of noisy at night when the room faces the street - ear plugs are a quick fix.
