Affordable, clean and tidy accommodation

Liked: In the centre of parnell, good neighborhood on main street. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Close to bus stops and train station. Reception/staff were very friendly and helpful, we needed to drop off our bags super early and they offered to just check us in straight away which we greatly appreciated. Hotel is a bit old but a very reasonable price point and very clean and tidy.

Disappointing

Liked: It was a good price, close to the city
Disliked: Flat thin pillows. 3 sachets of coffee between 2 people and no milk. Room was not serviced as it was advertised. Carpark very difficult to negotiate. Renovation noise with no apology. Stayed there 6 years ago but standard much lower this time.

Excellent value for money -...

Liked: Once you get over the fact that there is no one at reception to greet you and you need to call to get the key drop - its all fine from there. Parking no problem. The duty manager responds to the phone call quickly and the key drop is immediate. The rooms are well appointed, modernized, all facilities as they should be, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay there again - excellent value for money in central Auckland.
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like.

Liked: Good Location and friendly staff
Disliked: Looks like it hasnt had a coat of paint for a few years, walls are rather thin. Could hear other patrons snoring/sleeping

Poor

Liked: No staff or service is available after three pm or before 9 am. No person at reception at all between these time and no services available
Disliked: No one at the reception to help and no service from 5 pm to 9 am in the morning or no assistance
