Liked: Wonderfully big bedroom and very well appointed bathroom - great water pressure in the shower! Huge and very comfortable bed. The hotel has a fabulous bar, decorated and appointed in traditional style with a great atmosphere: the pianist played a series of interpretations of movie themes with skill and feeling.
Disliked: There was no milk for the tea-making facilities: I know this is a particularly 'English' problem, but it is nice to be able to make a cup of tea in the morning, and herbal tea does not cut it, somehow...

When in Bolzano don't bother...

Liked: I had written a very positive review something like eight years ago. I am glad to say I returned to this hotel and noticed nothing had changed. Actually it was even better than I remember it. When in Bolzano dont bother looking at any other place. The chic yet cosy bar, the impeccable rooms the lovely breakfast , the vast gardens and the position. It is just grandiose. Thankyou to the management down to room maids for doing an excellent job!
Disliked: ...oh that it wasnt snowing...! Otherwise everything was perfect
