Generally very good, but the little things do matter. Very good position by that river.

Liked: Nice room; comfy bed and good food.
Disliked: Maybe it's a result of Covid but bedmaking was not on the menu and room goodies like tea, coffee and milk were not replenished unless specifically requested.

Liked: Location was good . Alan the concierge was the best part of the hotel and a great help.
Disliked: Lady on reception was smug when I spoke to her . I asked for our room to be cleaned as it was dirty on arrival . It never was cleaned at all over the two days we stayed . No toilet rolls or shower gel in shower . Corridors full off trays etc . Breakfast was a free for all .

Disliked: Trying to book a session at the swimming pool was difficult. Disappointed that we couldn't book a slot on the day we arrived.

Disliked: We could not get the room for the NYE celebration as the roads were blocked early and had to wait! = nightmare
