Generally very good, but the little things do matter. Very good position by that river.

Liked: Nice room; comfy bed and good food.
Disliked: Maybe it's a result of Covid but bedmaking was not on the menu and room goodies like tea, coffee and milk were not replenished unless specifically requested.

Average and mainly as expected...

Liked: The location is always fantastic and the ease of the hotel and ability to book. My husband has been staying at the hotel for years and we have been staying as a family for the past 3 years.
Disliked: Breakfast did not meet expectations. It has been better when we have stayed there previously - sausage and eggs were not tasty and the pastries are boring.

Liked: Amazing location and facilities. The room service was great and staff were generally very friendly and helpful with a few exceptions.
Disliked: We were very rudely accused of not paying for breakfast on day 1 due to a system error on their end. Thank goodness for the manager who stepped in and apologised on her behalf.

Liked: The location was excellent for the purpose of our visit and for rail links
Disliked: Impersonal, mediocre breakfast with powdered scrambled egg and no mushrooms. Some areas of the room weren’t as clean as they should have been. Pressured by emails to check in and skip housekeeping.

Liked: Great location and views.
Disliked: Overcrowded for breakfast. Would be great to add toilet brush in the room.
