Horrible!

Liked: Room was quite large
Disliked: Staying at the hotel was a health hazard. The room was so dusty we experienced allergies and astma attacks. I mentioned this several times to the hotel reception. The first response was ‘can I please have the gift voucher back’. Fortunately subsequent responses were better, but not good enough to have a cleaned room. What they considered ‘extra cleaned’ still contained spots that could easily be wiped away with a piece of paper, so no dust was removed or anything.

Liked: Room was lovely, great size, clean and even smelt nice! Electric everything with digital settings. Room was dark and cool enough to get some seriously deep sleep. Pillows too firm for me but that is a personal thing anyway. Twining tea, coffee pods and lovely espa products in bathroom. Lovely towels and robes available (I didn’t have time to test).Big bar still open late in evening. Obviously near train station and also many eateries and a medium sized Sainsbury just 5 mins walk away. I was just one night between meetings but it was the kind of hotel where you wished you had longer to enjoy it.
