We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the PK Plaza, our 1st time here and hopefully not our last. One night stay for the Gladys Knight Farewell Tour 02/07/24. Luke has been a bonus to this hotel. I've dealt with him regarding several changes in my confirmation booking. He swiftly, professionally and with a friendly manner deals with any hiccups or rearranging with ease. The hotel is amazingly clean and modern, very comfortable and is in a prime location for all your city needs. Well done team, thanks from my sister and I. (Sunderland)

Liked: Cleanliness;warm, friendly staff and well situated in the city for everything one is interested in.
Disliked: Strange approach to underground hotel parking and accessing the entrance via an intercom buzzer, especially for senior citizens being newbies to the daunting city. Maybe a good call to highlight this to future clients that are not familiar with the hotel, especially from other UK cities.

Breakfast was excellent; hotel validated car park ticket so we only paid half price.

Liked: The hotel was so close to everything we wanted to see. Once we parked our car in the lock up car park we did not need to use it as we walked everywhere

Liked: Very convenient for the theatre royal. Good choice for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable. Good view of the city from our seventh floor window
Disliked: Music in the restaurant at breakfast. Not a fan of jazz. Car park took a bit of negotiating as entrance quite narrow and parking underground.
