Disliked: 2 tiny issues but not majorkettle was leaking, water all over the unit, shower door had no seal on the bottom which meant water over bathroom floor

Wasn't the most enjoyable stay

Liked: Food was okay, Breakfast lovely spread. Rooms clean tidy and spacious - just needs aircon instructions especially in room where switches are old and in two separate places. Don't expect to much from staff on the front desk only had one who seemed to care for her job and what she does.
Disliked: We booked penthouse Rooms x 4 on booking.com. On arrival I was informed only 3 had been booked and after a lengthy discussion with the employee and disagree with me. I showed booking confirmation that I had booked 4 the 1 room they had missing for some reason was in my middle name told me there was an admin error. We then went to the rooms they was lovely but the complimentary items was inconsistent - one bottle wine in just one room was disappointing for what was paid and these are premium rooms. One room didn't have the fruit. We settled in our penthouse room but this was super hot 28 degrees we called for engineer to try sort the air con but he was struggle to get it working. After 20 minutes it turns out to only be switch on wall behind door but even the engineer didn't know. It wasn't till he called for support that they closed the ceiling and put switch on. Could do with being informed on check in or a notice on wall in room. we had total family 15 and had dinner at the restaurant this was quite nice. Only problem was we asked for two separate bills drinks and food. Our family member from Australia asked for the food bill and paid it. When we asked for the drinks bill it turns out all was put on one bill. When we asked to rectify this refund drinks to family member from Australia there wasn't a manager on site able to sort this and was asked to come back in the morning see another manager for 7.45am before hand over at 8am. I came down at 7.45am to find the manager had dashed off to get the train home a handover had been written to next manager. Again I had to stand and explain I wanted the bank card refunded and pay the drinks on my card. This proved to be very difficult and caused the manager and a college to disagree and be rude to each other in front of me not good customer service at all. After spending over hour with different manager staff we still didn't fully resolve and I paid the family member as to difficult for hotel.

Fantastic stay in a great...

Liked: Park Plaza County Hall was superb! They gave us a fantastic room with a view of the London Eye, and left cake and balloons in the room for our son's birthday. The room was perfect for a family - big, comfy bed, double sofa bed in separate area, good size bathroom with separate shower and bath, and a small kitchenette with microwave. We only stayed 2 nights but could easily have spent longer with such a good size room. We also took the offer of breakfast to save time in the mornings and we found the buffet selection excellent. The staff were also very accommodating to our son's peanut allergy, offering to prepare separate food for him and delivering it to the table. Hotel location is also excellent - close to everything London has to offer. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Awesome stay next to London...

Liked: Awesome stay, walking distance to London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster etc. Our room overlooked the city with a great view to the Shard. We also celebrated our anniversary and housekeeping decorated the room nicely. Had an amazing stay and would definetly recommend.
