Very good location and comfortable
Liked: Very good location just off the front, we were lucky to be able to park at the property rather than on the road. Comfortable bed, good sized room, nice breakfast

Disappointed
Liked: The location was good, close to the sea and restaurants.
Disliked: The house could have been a lot cleaner. There was dust everywhere and dampness on the net curtain. There was also dog dirt near the dining area which we had to ask the lady to clean. How often does Booking.com check premises for cleanliness?

Great breakfast and location BUT............
Liked: location, comfortable bed, lady herself and coco the dog. ample breakfast, well cooked and with alot of choices.
Disliked: Having to have to ask for more sugar and milk, which subsequently went off as there is no fridge. a little fridge would have been useful to keep water and my coca cola and electrolyte drinks cold. I didnt like the fact that there was no little room to chill in, or to be able to use downstairs sitting or breakfast room to read the paper for example and felt confined to my room. I didnt like the communal breakfast table and it would have been better to have separate tables as not everyone is a talker. I didnt like the lady's demeanour should one not want to eat everything. I dont eat breakfast usually and the lady was surprised that I only wanted bacon and eggs and toast. I felt like a naughty little girl and was chastised for not wanting porridge and she did tend to fuss alot. I didnt like the fact that there was no heating on. As i had spent a few hours walking around the crematorium on Saturday, my shoes were soaked and i had to stuff them with newspaper. I was soaked on Sunday as it rained for the Great North Run and I had to put my wet kit and trainers in a bag- there was no where to dry anything. I found the room cold but luckily had the foresight to take my fluffy socks and warm fleece night top. The duvet however was warm and it felt like my bed. You couldn't adjust the windows and it would have been advantageous to have a plug socket nearer the bed for my phone.
