Convenient hotel to stay

Liked: Clean room, Very GERMAN! Good Wifi, Breakfast is German Style, Sausage and Eggs and cutlet.
Disliked: I was quite surprised and disappointed that room service did not happen at all on my second day. The only thing done was removing the towel from the floor — no cleaning, no bed arrangement, nothing else.I had also requested early check-in when I arrived around 8:30–9:00 AM, but was told it wasn’t possible, so I had to wait until the afternoon, which was inconvenient after a long journey.To top it off, they didn’t accept cash, especially USD, which was unexpected and a hassle.

Liked: Although overpriced, I enjoyed that they have a bar for a late evening drink.
Disliked: They have a self check-in counter, but it takes significantly longer than a regular check-in. Although I’ve used self check-in at many hotels before, this was the only time I had issues. The system was slow, and the staff member overseeing the process was inattentive—ignoring the order of the line and assisting guests who arrived later before us.During our two-night stay, we interacted with three staff members at reception, and only one of them was genuinely friendly. The overall atmosphere of the hotel doesn’t feel like a four-star establishment—it feels more like a large apartment building. You don’t feel like a welcomed guest, but rather just a customer expected to pay and leave.

Liked: The room was the standard clean and comfortable room that I would expect from Best Western. I took advantage of the express (terminal) check-in and check-out and this worked without issue. I can't comment on the staff, as I didn't not have any contact with them. The location is close to a U-Bahn station and is reasonably well connected to the rest of the city, despite obviously being a little removed from the center.
Disliked: There was no safe in the room.

Liked: The location was very good. Hotel lobby was very comfortable.
Disliked: Air conditioning in room was very poor. Would not like to stay in high summer. Breakfast at €28 was excessive in price as was dinner so chose to eat elsewhere.
