I loved it. A step...

Liked: The historic ambiance of the Hotel. Mixture of old and new. Dinner superb !. Feel some comments are unfair as comparing to modern hotels. This Hotel is a very old building and can therefore have some issues, heating, stairs etc, but it is a great atmosphere and makes you wish you had a time machine to see it in all its glory
Disliked: Shower dodgy, day bar staff unfriendly and yes various temperature changes

Room was ok but don't...

Liked: Dinner in bar was good. Gentleman serving was very friendly and helpful and meal was good.
Disliked: Breakfast was pretty poor. We were placed in a separate room due to us having a dog which we accepted. However the service and quality of the food was awful. I think the breakfast buffet hot food had been sitting on the counter since 7.30 a.m. when breakfast started. We arrived around 9.00 a.m. I did send an e-mail to the Manager regarding the poor quality of the breakfast (as advised to do by the Receptionist) but I am still waiting for a reply several weeks later.
