Liked: Location was just right, owners very friendly
Disliked: Was very cold heating not turned on enough, very dated room no door or curtain for shower, no plug sockets ..

Dreadful. Dirty and in need...

Liked: The location is fine. The bed was reasonably comfortable. That’s about all I liked.
Disliked: The room is in dire need of redecoration. The showere was a cubicle in the bedroom. I walked barefoot once and could feel the dirt and debris under my feet. Perhaps they could invest in a vacuum cleaner. OK, it was only £45 for the night but I’ll be paying a bit more in future for a decent hotel. This guest house can’t be Ben get the basics eight.

A good choice for an...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering us lots of free advice on where to eat and what to do with our stay. We were also delighted that there was free parking directly outside the property!
Disliked: The room was very basic and possibly in need of a bit of a refresh. It suited our purposes but was nothing special.

Comfortable, reasonably priced, but beware...

Liked: The bed was comfortable, and I was happy with the cleanliness of the linens and towels. I actually slept amazingly well! The hosts were also extremely friendly, and called me to make sure that I wasn't lost.
Disliked: The main things that perturbed me was the mold growing on the ceilings immediately above the bed, and the fact that the room was exceptionally cold. I'm guessing that it was perhaps colder than the other rooms because it was at the very top of the house, in the corner room. Additionally, I was afraid of the shower since I'm not quite sure how the waterheater worked, and I was afraid of further scolding myself.

Liked: I could not get water to drink as the re was too much dirty under the taps on the sink. Please can that area be cleaned
Disliked: Dirty under the taps on the sink

Liked: Easy to deal with. Clean. Excellent location.
Disliked: Nothing.

Doesn’t meet modern expectations

Liked: It looks ok from the outside and the lady owner was nice enough.
Disliked: There’s a terrible stale smell everywhere. Our shower was in the room itself - I haven’t seen anything like this ever - you can’t help but wet the carpet. It’s like something out of the 70s.
