Liked: The room (112) was great. It was fairly large, well laid out and well decorated. The bathroom was very nice. The shower was on the small side (probably normal for Europe) but functional.The hotel location isperfect; it is right by the train station and close to the old town and shopping.The breakfast had plenty of variety, with very good coffee.

Liked: This is a lovely hotel in a perfect location. You are 5 minutes walk from the train station, right next to a park and very close to the old town. Nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff.
Disliked: Just the fact that like most German hotels there wasn't tea making facilities in the room.

Great hotel in a superb...

Liked: This hotel is very well located, close to main train station, the train/tram hub and a short walk to Old Town. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Room was big enough for a couple with luggage and a very comfortable bed. Our room had a city view which was a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

Liked: Its location is unparalleled. It’s only 5mins’ walk from the Freiburg Train Station, has 2 supermarkets nearby, and only takes 5mins’ walk to the Alstadt.Each room is individually furnished, clean, comfortable and very well-equipped (yay for heated towel racks). The wifi is strong and consistent. It feels classy with the literary-themed furnishings.To top it all off, there’s a choice of a free drink from the fridge and they further offer you a bottle of water when you check out. These little things really make a difference!
