Park Central Hotel, Bournemouth

Very welcoming friendly staff. Room was well equipped, spacious and immaculate. Hotel is in a great position to enjoy all aspects of Bournemouth. Will stay again.

First visit, but not last. Good first impressions. Excellent welcome and easy check in. Classic double was very roomy and spotlessly clean with a large bed which was very comfortable. Good sized bathroom with good selection of toiletries, lovely towels and brilliant shower, although shower cubicle could have been a tad bigger, but no complaint. Room nicely decorated and loads of space, drawers and wardrobe. Room extras were excellent with hairdryer, iron and board, plus a good selection of teas and coffees as well as mineral water. Breakfast was great with a good variety of food and drinks. Dishes replaced and topped up regularly. All staff were brilliant, polite, helpful and efficient. We will return and hotel location also ideal for the BIC, Pavilion, beach and town centre. Great parking opposite hotel too. Highly recommended.

Pleasant

Liked: Excellent breakfast, agreeable view, quiet, charming and helpful staff. Good cooking.
Disliked: The room seriously needed refreshing. Scuffs and marks widely distributed across the white walls, and the carpet was stained and drab. The publicity offered a discount for guests in their "Crab" restaurant, but when we asked for it, they said it only applied on Friday (why would it?) and it seems now to have disappeared from the publicity. The bar was expensive. Also, we had to reserve for breakfast, so we booked for 9:30, but when we turned up at 9:34 they said they weren't sure they could do it -- eventually they did. Later, we asked at Reception and they said breakfast finished at 9:15 -- why take a reservation for 9:30, then?

Brilliant value for money and...

Liked: The signature room had a fantastic sea view, which exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious and it was great that there were two TVs and a mini fridge. The breakfast included in the price was also great value for money and was delicious. Fantastic hotel location in the centre of town by the sea. There is also a car park right next to the hotel with parking for 24 hours for only £7.50 which is very cheap compared to the other car parks in Bournemouth or anywhere else for 24 hours.
Disliked: The room decor is a little outdated but that was not an issue for us.

A great location with exceptionally...

Liked: Good size room with superb views of the sea. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the family. Everything within easy walking distance of the beach, park and restaurants.
Disliked: The rooms would benefit from a refresh but were very comfortable.

Enjoyable stay despite the Crab...

Liked: Room very clean albeit dated, good size and great view. Breakfast very good and staff very friendly.
Disliked: No real problems with the hotel however very disappointed with the crab restaurant. Over priced and lacking in flavour would not eat there again
