Lovely corner but you need...

Liked: Use of pool, kayaks and stand up paddling equip after paying daily resort fee. Morning yoga available. Parking space provided for our unit. Nice balcony looking out a the bay. (We were viewable too by our neighbors which wasn't so cool.) USB plug on the bedside lamp is worn out. Needs more plugs in the bedrooms for charging devices.
Disliked: For this isolated "resort", there really was no food service at all without getting in your car and driving 5 miles or more. Banana bread was available in the morning in the lobby... with coffee. Coffee was, however, undrinkable to my party of 3 adults due to some "flavor" added. Not a nice area to take a walk in as it is tucked into a residencial rundown area. No sidewalks or shoulders and no streetlighting made walking dangerous.

Great location, crappy policies.

Liked: The resort itself is very scenic and has a small beach with great views. It is also located not far from many North Shore activities.
Disliked: We got a "upgrade" when we arrived that turned out to be a downgrade to a worse room with no view whatsoever. They "upgraded" us to a larger room that we didn't need, with no windows. It was like a bunker. We did not pay for a room without even a functional window. They also charge for parking, which is BS this far from the city.

The location is so beautiful...

Liked: The view of the mountain range on the water is breathtaking. The concierge recommended some excellent eating places and picnic areas.
Disliked: I didn’t like the native 6 legged critters in the room. Some were bold enough to climb the table while we were eating. We were able to maintain the visitations by putting all foods and utensils in the refrigerator.

A relaxing staycation on Oahu

Liked: We live in Honolulu and booked this hotel for a break from the city and to explore the Windward side of the island a bit more. The view from our room (#16) was spectacular. And the room was spacious and had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the Saturday boat trip to the Kaneohe Sandbar and that was excellent. The staff was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like was the noisiness of the property. The walls are very thin and the connecting door between our room and the room next door was not only thin but it had gaps underneath it so the people next door might as well have been in our room, we could hear every word they said. A thicker connecting door would have solved most of the problem. Also the people above us were very noisy. It also would have been nice if parking was free since there's really no other way to get to the property than with your own vehicle.

Liked: The ambience of the hotel and the friendly helpful staff was notable. A very unique place to stay that will be remembered.

Liked: The Paradise Bay Resort was amazing with the most beautiful views. Rooms were exceptional, clean with every facility you would need. Very quite area of Hawaii with shopping areas, beaches and attractions a short drive away.

Pleasant

Liked: View of mtns.. Is spectacular, amenities which cost additional 45/ day are adequate. Snorkel trip was awesome. Birds song was fascinating
Disliked: Lots of steps into and out of room, older motel with slight upgrades, parking fee 18$ day is unacceptable. Neighborhood and restaurants in area are scetchy.
