In Porto's historic center 325 ft from Avenida dos Aliados and the Metro station this hotel has art déco-style interiors a multilingual staff and a spacious terrace. The Douro River is a 15-minute walk away. All rooms at Pão de Açúcar Hotel feature double-glazed windows vintage furnishings and include a private bathroom. Quirky hotel in the centre...

Liked: Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location and value for money was excellent. I loved the quirky, 1970's vibe and memorabilia dotted around. Breakfast had an excellent selection, I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: location was very good, close to where I wanted to go.
Disliked: The smell in the general areas was ok but the rooms I have stayed was smelling like Ramen shop because there were two restaurants downstairs and all their hoods were crossing from the backyard and where our windows were facing. if let the air in it smells worse if you leave the windows closed the air stays in and it still smell bad.
