A Northern lass in Toronto

Liked: Great location. Comfortable and spacious and I was very impressed with the lighting, the best hotel I've ever been to for that feature. Just wish I'd known I had free access to spa, only received that news today and I'm elsewhere now. Check in/ out good and I've had an enjoyable stay as solo traveller. Thank you.
Disliked: Could have been informed at reception on more accessible things during my stay or in room info.

Great hotel but poorly trained...

Liked: I really enjoyed the room! It was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Disliked: There was a fire alarm at about midnight, which turned out to be a false alarm. However, during the event, the staff didn’t communicate with the guests, so we all gathered in the lobby. In the event of a real emergency this lack of communication could have proved fatal. Also, when asking the staff where the stairs were when the alarm was lifted, one of them just said “stairs?” to there coworker and never replied us. When we found them, many floors were locked, which again, would have been fatal if firemen were to rescue guests or have to go to specific floors. It’s a great hotel, but the staff, or at least part of it, seems poorly trained.
